[UPDATED] FPE Now Accepting Grants Application Online!
Posted on October 15, 2014The Foundation for the Philippine Environment (FPE) have made its applications for grants more accessible and more convenient for its conservation partners through the new Grants Online Management Information System (GO-MIS).
The modernized application system is set for a pilot trial run in October 2014.
[Updated, 10/15/2014] As of October 15, 2014, interested parties may access the GO-MIS by clicking "Online Application" under the "Apply for Grants" tab on the FPE homepage, or simply by logging into http://grantsonline.fpe.ph/.
The FPE GO-MIS will enable the Foundation and its conservation partners to keep up with modern times by making its Grants Program available through a convenient and accessible means—the Internet.
Announced and demonstrated last July 10, 2014, the new service will allow FPE’s partners to apply for project grants at any time and from any location via Internet access. Once it goes live, the FPE GO-MIS page may be accessed by clicking “Online Application” under the “Apply for Grants” tab on the FPE homepage or by clicking the “Access Grants MIS” button on the sidebar in the website’s sub-pages.
Using the FPE GO-MIS is a straightforward process. Grant applicants can expect to be guided all throughout the application and monitoring procedures by the easy-to-follow, step-by-step instructions provided.
Ms. Caseylyn Pantaleon and Mr.Selwyn Uy of i4 Asia Incorporated (right) brief FPE members on the step-by-step process of using the FPE GO-MIS during the launch event held last July 10.
The GO-MIS retains the scope and features of FPE’s Grants Program, classifying grants as site-focused, proactive, and competitive, and allowing a variety of funding levels, from small (up to PhP 200,000 max), to medium (up to PhP 800,000 max), and large (up to PhP 2,000,000 max).
The FPE Grants Program also prioritizes projects that fall within the Foundation’s CARES strategies, which cover Constituency-building, Advocacy, Research, Environmental Defense, and Sites.
Through GO-MIS, FPE and its project partners will be able to track and monitor all project grants throughout the entire process—that is, from approval to completion. As such, the system is also designed as a technology-based, interactive database and decision-making aid on FPE grants.
