Three state universities, two LGU libraries and two secondary schools were the recipients of the first FPE book donation drive in February 2013.

The recipients include the Pangasinan State University – Binmaley Campus, Bulacan Agricultural State College – Doña Remedios Trinidad Campus, Southern Luzon State University – Lucban Campus, Angeles City Library, Pampanga Provincial Library, Justice Cecilia Muñoz Palma High School, and Flora A. Ylagan High School.

More than 100 titles were given to each university and public library. The donated books are part of the vast collection of the FPE Information Resource Center (IRC) on environment, agriculture and related topics. Publications supported by the Foundation were also donated. Pre-owned high school text books  were handed over to J. Palma High School while several references were given to F. Ylagan High School.

Knowledge-sharing is one of the major goals of FPE. The Foundation hopes this gift of knowledge will instill environmental consciousness among Filipino students.
