Project Goals and Objectives

To conduct establishment of reliable and comprehensive understanding of the state of the mangroves along Sarangani Bay, develop a responsive and relevant mangrove conservation and rehabilitation interventions, engage the concerned sectors, government agencies and private entities in the development and implementation of Sarangani Bay Mangrove Management Plan and Strengthening and expanding the Sarangani Bay Trust Fund (SBTF)

TARGET OUTPUTS:
• Local Government units accept and adopt the results of the research on the state of the mangrove forest in Sarangani Bay
• Sarangani Bay Mangrove Management Plan drafted, presented and reviewed by the TWG and/or PAMB
• Sarangani Bay Mangrove Management Plan approved and adopted
• Concept proposal for Phase 2 of the project; for review and approval, and submission
