Project Goals and Objectives

The 3-day conference seeks to:

1. Provide awareness on the current situation of the environment and how it affects the indigenous women;
2. Consolidate and document indigenous women’s perspectives on environmental issues and possible management mechanisms;
3. Come-up with concrete recommendations and plan of action on the issues;
4. Document the conference proceedings, resolutions and action plan; and
5. Conduct tree planting activity at the end of the conference as commitment of women participants in environmental conservation.
