Project Goals and Objectives

Fulfill the Mt. Nacolod Conservation Framework’s vision of having a protected, conserved, and sustainably managed by empowered communities implemented through LGU alliance, ensuring continues environmental engagement on Global Climate Change and Biodiversity Conservation

Outputs and Outcomes

Perception analysis; 100 participants have increased their skills and knowledge of Mt. Nacolod Biodiversity Conservation and the Impacts of Climate Change; NGOs and NGAs & stakeholders participated in the summit; Gap analysis and action/ implementation plan; IEC Framework and Plan; 500 mangrove seedlings plated; O.5 ha of mangrove areas planted; 75 stakeholders (male and female), NGOs/NGAs, and youth participated in the mangrove planting; Mt. Nacolod environmental literacy modules and plans; 40 youth (male and female) trained; 40 youth environment champions; Assessment report; Action plan; 7 members of PCP Green Circle trained/ equipped on financial and accounting system and proposal writing; SEC registration
